There is Cool...And Then There is WAY COOL

Now We're Making Some Progress

After a couple of tense days of relational challenges, the girls (Ming, really) are seemingly getting past themselves and are...uh...um...er...reaching out to each other.

One Last Taste of Christmas

Nope, I didn't take this one. It was done by a professional. But I like it. :-)

Learning To Share

Now back in Spokane, Ming spent some playtime last night with her second cousin, Aurora (Linda's nephew's daughter). Mommy had to have 'a little talking to' with Ming before Aurora came over, and then there were a couple subsequent chats once Aurora came over with her parents, Justin and Jessica. It's not that Ming doesn't like to share...she simply doesn't like to share with other little kids. :-)

The two warmed up to each other after a while and those initial tears dried up.

Another Christmas Shout Out

This one goes out to Ming's big bro., Nate. He's spending these holidays touring Europe while he's on break from studies in England. Nate and his Spokane pal, David Fugitt, have spent the last few days in Rome, Italy. Has there ever been a more cool place to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day than Rome? We miss you, Nate. We had a great meal today...turkey, stuffing, and Grandma's killer yams. We wish you could have been with us in Montana. But more than that, we wish we could have been with you and the Pope. Safe passage, my man.

The Blues Clues Blues

Let me tell you...If Ming is watching Blues Clues from Comcast's 'free on-demand' offering, it's pretty tough to get her attention! It doesn't look like a comfortable position to watch TV, does it?

Daddy's Girl

My little Ming-a-Ling was too interested in the Christmas ornaments to smile at the camera with Daddy. I have to admit, it's a lot of fun to have a little girl to love on - especially as she enjoys all the excitement of Christmas.

Weekend Fun

This weekend Linda got real festive and put the yuletide love on our home. The tree is up, the decorations are in place, and (thanks to Titus and his pal Joe) the Christmas lights are shining brightly in the front yard. Ming is much more attentive to the Christmas cheer this year, so I'm sensing that the fun has just begun.

Nightie Night.

It was pitch black in Ming's room when I took this. Not even a flinch when the flash went off. They're always angelic when they are sleeping, eh?

The Mingster Cam

This one is from the webcam on my computer. After we recorded it, I showed it to Ming. When she wants to do something again she makes this funny little noise that kind of sounds like a siren (only faster). Ming sat in my lap and gave me the do-it-again sound over and over. After a couple of watchings she had it memorized and was saying the same things on top of the video sound. And I got another kiss each time too!

Thanksgiving Feast 2007

The Narrator gets a little ahead of himself on this video. He calls this "Thanksgiving 2008"...but it is really only 2007.

By the way, the empty chair between Aunt Kim and Grandma B is Cousin Holden's...we have no idea where he disappeared to during this video.
We enjoyed our afternoon Turkey Day Meal at Uncle Roger and Aunt Kim's house.
