Daddio and Ming's Montana Getaway, Part I
This weekend I took Ming Mei over to our hideout in Bigfork, MT. Mommy stayed home and was free to have some alone time, and a night out with the girls. Grandma S went too, and Cindy and Jack happened to spend the weekend at their home too, so Ming received plenty of love and spoiling. With Grandma around, I got to play a little golf with Jack and Cindy on Saturday. When we got home last night Linda realized the was going to have to engage in some 'deprogramming' of our precious little daughter. :-)

Front Yard Golf Action
Titus dropped by home tonight and treated Ming to a little playtime in the front yard. She loves being outside, even in the blustery Spring weather. Titus is in his 3rd week with a little extra weight on his right hand. He's looking forward to getting the cast off next week!

Levi's First Date
After watching his brothers go to the ball for several years, Levi has finally hit 7th grade and is officially invited to the annual Oaks Ball at school. He's pretty pumped about it, and he managed to score a 'trophy' date for this important event - the young and effervescent Linda Kay. Daddio is home Ming sitting for the night. Right now she's watching Dora while I'm enjoying a little computer action. Way to go, Levi - you are the man. And remember to keep that 8-count in your head while you are you are stepping to the Virginia Reel.

"Hey!"
We were driving to dinner last night when we heard Ming, from her back perch in our rental SUV, say "Hey!" I looked back and she was pointing to a Saguaro cactus alongside the road. I responded, "Yes, darling, that's a cactus." As we saw a couple of others she enthusiastically voiced her best effort at saying 'cactus.' At first I thought it was odd that Ming picked them out and was curious by the prickly things. Linda told me that she has seen them on TV when she watches Dora and her cousin, Diego. It was cute to see her excitement as she was obviously connecting the dots in her mind between what she had seen on TV and in real life.

Gypsy Girl
Levi was clowning with Ming this afternoon and tied her blanked on her head. She thought it was pretty cool, so she took the time to show off a little bit.
In case you're wondering, yes, that is sunshine on Ming's arm. After snowfall again this morning before church, the sky has cleared up and ol' Mr. Sun popped out. It's not particularly warm, but then again, it's not snowing...
I depart for Phoenix on a work trip tomorrow afternoon - the desert will be an anticipated experience. Last weekend, while it was snowing again, Linda went online looking for cheap plane tickets to Arizona. She found some, so Linda and Ming will also be traveling to Phoenix. We're on different flights going and coming, but it will be fun to have my girls there in the hotel at night when I return from the day's work.
